Thank You UTS!

Here's a shout out to the University Technology Services. They fixed my computer so I could install that MicroTrend thing.

Apparently I was missing some kind of system file. I created a Trouble ticket online and got a call the next day from this guy mumbling into the phone (he sounded like one of those crazy stalkers, but he was just making an appointment for an iCare session.) So today I rolled my CPU across the street to computer services. It wasn't raining when I left South Quad, but I had it wrapped up in a big plastic bag anyway. I put it on my hand cart that I used to take my laundry down to Pickney Legare. The iCare center was nicely done, and they even put on Lord of the Rings III on the projector while they were working. You know how computer people can be obnoxious and nerdy, but my guy was pleasant if not very sociable. The only thing I wish he hadn't done was uninstall my Norton AntiVirus, which I paid money for, so he could install USC's software. Oh well, it never found any viruses anyway. So now I am protected and all that good stuff.

In conclusion, if you have a computer problem, do take it to the computer services people because they can help. And no, I was not paid to say that.
